Carpet stained recently cleaned my cream coloured carpet in my entrance hall with a carpet cleaning product, wet foamy spray type, ran out of this and found a part bottle of a different brand in my cupboard, used this to finish off however must be some sort of reaction and carpet gone a greenish colour i think (colour blind sorry ) any idea’s of any product that might restore my carpet, will try anything, nothing to loose. thank you Peter McGurk Goole East Yorks

(ONLY WHITE) 99% of fabric is white and then dyed to color and if you use a color cloth you might pull the dye from the cloth into the carpet. Now what you can try is your basic dishwashing detergent like electrosal with warm water and a dishtowel. little at a time try to blot not rub. try AFTA if that doesnt work. wet the rag first with warm water. pour the afta on the wet rag not on the carpet.

It’s been awhile since I have used my shampoo system on my Ultimate G series Kirby. Well, as instructed I took it apart and cleaned it. Now I can?t figure out where to put the ?screen cap? and ?sponge filter?. I have my manual in front of me and the only place it shows the filter and sponge (page 35 in the manual) is when it?s been taken apart to clean. It doesn?t show where to put it back. Roomba keeps saying clean brushes yet are clean!
ANSWER : Make sure you take off the little cap at the end (the one that spins — just grab it and pull it straight off) and clean under it too. The rest of the brush may look perfectly clean but what happens is that hair gets stuck under spinning cap and, like a slowly growing washer, it pushes the whole brush toward the gear box. When it gets pushed over enough, the large yellow ring starts to rub against the side of the brush deck making it harder for the motor to turn the brush and you get that “remove and clean brushes” message.

Cleaning Solution The cleaning solution is not foaming properly. When cleaning the carpet only a very light foam is being dispensed from the unit onto the carpet.
ANSWER : Is the little suds screen missing from your shampooer tank? It should be covering the hole that the hose plugs onto. Sometimes they also get lodged in the hose sideways.
